An Islamist from Bonn, who has been detained pending deportation since early September, is taking legal action against his deportation to the Republic of Kosovo. According to a spokesman for the Cologne Administrative Court, a lawsuit and an urgent proceeding on the matter were filed on Tuesday. It is currently unclear when a decision will be made.

The city of Bonn reported about the deportation about two weeks ago. Reason: Endangering the basic order of free democracy and the internal security of the Federal Republic of Germany. Among other things, the men were said to have spread hate propaganda on the Internet. Prime Minister Hendrik Wüst welcomed the move. According to the Minister of the Interior of North Rhine-Westphalia Herbert Reul (both CDU), they were known as Salafis.
