Is the Biggest Airdrop a Scam in Disguise?

Hamster Kombat, a name that has become incredibly popular in the crypto space, promised the biggest airdrop ever. They have always claimed that they did not need to chase investors for funding, and presented themselves as an independent force in the crypto space. However, some stories doing the rounds suggest that this may not be entirely true. The cracks are starting to show and what was once seen as a promising project could be taking a darker path. Could Hamster Kombat, known for its airdrop hype, become one of the biggest scams in the crypto space?

Hamster Kombat's Investor Problems

Hamster Kombat’s reputation as a game changer in the crypto space is under serious threat. A now-deleted article from Lenta.ru revealed that Hamster Kombat had some deep financial ties to investors, despite what they’ve told the public. AD.RU, a Russian investment firm, invested $600,000 to fuel the development of Hamster Kombat. They didn’t just stop there — they helped raise over $1 million for the project. In return, they were promised a 25% stake. But here’s the catch: AD.RU says they haven’t seen a single cent of the profits.

Hamster Kombat's lead, Eduard Gurinovich, denied in June that AD.RU had any role in the project. But reports suggest otherwise. It seems that this game may have used funds that were intended for another game, Arenaum, that AD.RU was involved in. So what's really going on here? If the Hamster team wasn't looking for investors, why does it seem like they're knee-deep in agreements and broken promises?

Influencers and marketers: left out in the cold

The controversy doesn’t stop with investors. The project’s head of marketing, Nikita Anuriev, who is also a YouTube blogger, left the project earlier this month. He was promised a 25% share of the profits in exchange for promoting Hamster Kombat and securing early investment. But the project didn’t deliver on its promises. Instead of sharing the profits, the team refunded early investors and cut ties with the influencers who made the project popular, Anuriev said.

Anuriev did not leave quietly. He warned that the situation inside and around Hamster Kombat is becoming tense. He even indicated that he may have to reveal more details if something does not change soon, mainly to protect users, influencers and investors from decisions based on incomplete or misleading information.

$HMSTR prices drop

All these internal conflicts have had a significant impact on the market performance of $HMSTR. The token, which once peaked at $0.26 on the OKX exchange in the pre-market, has now dropped to just $0.169 – a drop of over 50%. With the token now trading at $0.187, the dip is also visible on ByBit. The price drop is alarming, especially as the community is increasingly concerned about the promised airdrop.

With lawsuits from investors like AD.RU looming, the once rosy picture of Hamster Kombat is quickly fading. The community has been asking the Hamster Kombat team questions about the TGE and the airdrop. However, they have not responded to these questions. The team has previously attributed the airdrop delays to the technical capabilities of the TON network and the sheer size of the airdrop. However, it now appears that internal conflicts and broken promises could be the real reasons behind the delays.

The Future of Hamster Kombat

As the Hamster Kombat saga unfolds, the community is left with more questions than answers. Is this project a victim of unfortunate circumstances, or is it hiding something more sinister? The promise of the largest airdrop ever is now clouded by fears that it could be a smokescreen for what could turn out to be one of the biggest scams in crypto.

The next few weeks are crucial for Hamster Kombat. Will they be able to resolve these issues and deliver on their promises, or will they collapse under the weight of their internal conflicts? For now, all eyes are on Hamster Kombat, but excitement has turned to fear as the community waits for the truth to emerge.
