Iran threatened Israel if it responded after its missile attack. “In this case, our response will be stronger and more forceful,” Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi wrote on the 10th podium. He added: “Our work is complete unless the Israeli regime decides to call for more revenge.”
With the attack on Tuesday evening, his country practiced self-defense in accordance with the United Nations Charter and limited itself to attacking military and security installations “responsible for genocide in #Gaza and #Lebanon.” Iran did so “after we exercised massive restraint for nearly two months to make way for a ceasefire in Gaza.” Israel’s supporters now bear a greater responsibility “to rein in the warmongers in Tel Aviv rather than participate in their madness.”
Israel had already announced a response after the Iranian attacks.
