Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu and actor Namrata Shirodkar’s son Gautham Ghattamanen turned 18 on Saturday (August 31). The birthday boy celebrated the special occasion with his family and close friends. His younger sister Sitara Ghattamanen was also present. Namrata Shirodkar gave fans a glimpse of the intimate celebration by dropping a bunch of pictures on Instagram. In the first frame, Gautham is sitting in front of a birthday cake, smiling brightly. A candle numbered “18” was seen on top of a chocolate cake. Mahesh Babu, Namrata and Sitara stood behind Gautham looking at the camera and smiling from ear to ear. The photo carousel also features some of Gautham’s friends who attended the intimate birthday bash. Along with the post, Namrata wrote, “From last night. 18 years of loving and living (three black heart emojis)”.
Namrata Shirdokari’s sister Shilpa Shirodkar commented on the post, “Beautiful. Actor Chunky Panday also wished Gautham Ghattamanen a ‘Happy Birthday’ and added a cake and a red heart emoji.
Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar wished Gautham Ghattamanen a happy birthday by sharing separate messages on their Instagram timeline. In the picture posted by Namrata, the youngster was seen carrying a bag on his shoulders and smiling. The photo appears to have been taken from New York University, where Gautham is pursuing higher education. The side note read: “To new beginnings! Happy birthday son. It’s a big deal for you and us as proud parents! Shine bright be happy and stay blessed always. Love you son.”
Sharing a smiling picture of Gautham Ghattamanen, Mahesh Babu captioned, “Happy 18 year old boy. Explore and enjoy this time. I love you very much. I am a proud father today.”
Sitara Ghattamane’s birthday wish for Gautham Ghattamanen was wonderful in every way. Dropping a photo with her older brother on social media, she wrote: “Happy birthday, I love you.” In the click, the brother-sister duo poses at the airport with Sitara’s thumb.
Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar got married in 2005. The couple became the proud parents of Gautham Ghattamane in 2006. They welcomed Sitara Ghattamanen in 2012.
