The Infinix Zero 40 5G is reportedly going to launch in India in the coming weeks. The alleged smartphone will reportedly come with Infinix AI – the company’s suite of artificial intelligence (AI) features like AI Eraser and AI Wallpaper. The phone made its global debut on August 29. It is speculated that the Indian version of the Infinix Zero 40 5G will feature similar specifications as the global option, such as a 144Hz AMOLED display and a 108-megapixel primary camera.
Infinix Zero 40 5G India Release Date
As per a report by 91Mobiles, the Infinix Zero 40 5G will launch in India on September 18 at 12 PM India time. It is expected to be available for purchase exclusively via Flipkart.
In the alleged teaser shared by the publication, one of the main selling points of the Infinix Zero 40 5G seems to be Infinix AI. It will reportedly introduce features like AI Wallpaper to generate wallpapers and AI Eraser to remove unwanted objects from photos.
In addition, another addition is said to be AI Cut-Out Sticker, which, as the name suggests, allows users to create stickers from cut-out elements. It is assumed that the smartphone will have similar specifications to its global counterpart.
Infinix Zero 40 5G Specifications (Expected)
The Infinix Zero 40 5G Global version comes with a 6.78-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1300 nits peak brightness. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and is TUV Rheinland Eye-care Mode certified. Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, paired with up to 24GB of dynamic RAM and up to 512GB of storage. It runs on Infinix UI based on Android 14.
In terms of optics, the Infinix Zero 40 5G is equipped with a 108-megapixel main rear camera along with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 50-megapixel selfie camera. It also has a dedicated GoPro mode that lets users connect any GoPro device to the smartphone.
The Infinix Zero 40 5G is equipped with a 5000mAh battery with support for 45W wired and 20W wireless fast charging.
