Infinix Hot 50 5G India launch date set for September 5; design and key features revealed ahead of debut

The Infinix Hot 50 5G will be launched in India next month. The company has announced the launch date of the phone in the country. Infinix has also revealed the design and key features of the upcoming smartphone. The specifications of the upcoming Infinix Hot 50 5G have been previously revealed by the company. It was earlier expected to launch alongside other phones in the series, including the Infinix Hot 50 4G, Hot 50 Pro, Hot 50 Pro+, and Hot 50i variants.

Infinix Hot 50 5G India Release Date, Design

The Infinix Hot 50 5G will launch in India on September 5, as per the banner on the official microsite. The phone will be 7.8mm thick and is said to be the thinnest model in the segment. While the company is yet to reveal the price range, an earlier teaser suggested that it will be a mid-range offering.

The Infinix Hot 50 5G was previously rumored to be available in Black and Blue colors. Teasers on the microsite also showed the phone in Green. Three square boxes with rounded edges are placed inside a vertical, pill-shaped module to house the rear cameras. The display is said to have a center-aligned punch-hole cutout and thin bezels.

Infinix Hot 50 5G Features

The Infinix Hot 50 5G display is said to support the “Wet Touch” feature, which allows access to it even when there are water drops on the screen. According to the company, the phone has an IP54 dust and splash resistance rating. It also has a TÜV SÜD liquidity certificate for 60 months.

The rear camera module of the Infinix Hot 50 5G appears with the words “Aspherical Lens” and “f/1.8 aperture/25mm”. The handset will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC and will be offered in 4GB and 8GB RAM options with 128GB UFS 2.2 storage onboard.
