Shops in Tver’s Toropets, where a fire broke out after debris from Ukrainian drones fell, have stopped selling alcohol, RIA Novosti reports, citing its correspondent.
The outlets report that a temporary ban on the sale of alcoholic beverages, including beer, has been introduced. Shop employees do not know since when the local authorities introduced this measure. But no official announcement has yet been made.
The day before, the governor of the Tver region, Igor Rudenya, announced a partial evacuation in Toropets, where a large fire broke out after the debris of UAVs fell. Residents were subsequently allowed to return to their places of residence. In addition, the district introduced a ban on visiting forests until October 1 due to measures to eliminate the consequences of repelling an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine with UAVs.
