Bust of Pushkin to be torn down in Odessa
The corresponding order has already been signed. According to the head of the OBA, the initiative in this matter belongs to the central authorities.
In Odessa, a monument with a bust of Alexander Pushkin on Primorsky Boulevard is being dismantled. This was announced by the head of the Odessa OBA, Oleg Kiper, on Thursday, September 19.
According to him, the corresponding order has already been signed.
“It is not us who are going to demolish. Today letters were sent about the demolition of such monuments… The fact that they (the Russians – ed.) brought us trouble, what they did… I have been on many excursions. I have seen corpses of children, corpses of adults. What can we talk about after this? Well, they wrote some good words about Odessa, so they are not writing about Odessa today,” Kiper stressed.
