Recently, he talked about the sequel and why he’s excited about it. “It’s cool,” he said, adding that he can’t reveal much about the project. “Oh god, I can’t tell you anything… I just want to get good eye makeup again.”
In The Devil Wears Prada, Blunt played Emily Charlton, the first assistant to journalistic tyrant Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) at the prestigious (and fictional) magazine Runway, reports People.
Emily has received numerous accolades, including a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards, as well as an Academy Award nomination and four British Academy Film Award nominations. Blunt made her acting debut in the 2001 theater production of “The Royal Family” and played Catherine Howard in the TV miniseries Henry VIII.
He gained much appreciation for his portrayal of an idealistic FBI agent in the crime film ‘Sicario’. She earned a Best Supporting Actress Academy Award nomination for her outstanding performance as Katherine Oppenheimer in Christopher Nolan’s 2023 biographical thriller Oppenheimer. Blunt was last seen in The Fall Guy opposite Ryan Gosling.
He was also seen in critically acclaimed and blockbuster films such as ‘Edge of Tomorrow’ and ‘A Quiet Place’. The ace actor will next be seen in The Smashing Machine opposite Dwayne Johnson. It is an American biographical sports drama film written and directed by Benny Safdie. The film stars Dwayne Johnson as a former wrestler and mixed martial artist Mark Kerr and Emily Blunt as his wife.
