Candidate for Mayor of Santo Estêvão, Val de Dezinho (PT) received important support for his candidacy this Friday afternoon (27). From now on, Hugo Nogueira, who is the MDB candidate, decided to support the PT candidate.
The announcement was made by PT president in Bahia, Éden Valadares, in Salvador.
In the meeting, together with Hugo, the mayor of Santo Estêvão, Rogério Costa (PT), supporters Vardinho do Madeiral and Denis Freitas, Val’s brother, Hugo Nogueira formalized his decision to stop the dispute and walk with Val and Thomas.
“Hugo Nogueira, with his history of struggle as councilor and president of the City Council, in addition to his candidacy for deputy mayor in the last elections, brings his strength and experience to add to our campaign”, said Val de Dezinho on his social networks. “Together, with the support of our community, we will build a new moment for Santo Estêvão, with unity and commitment”, he continued.
