Everyone likes chores, especially chores related to laundry.
The worst part? Putting the washed clothes on the drying rack and then tiringly folding them neatly. Endlessly stuffing and combining socks into boxes turns out to be a time-consuming endeavor that we all wish we could avoid.
But unfortunately that’s part of life, right? However, now there’s a life hack that might just put the fun back into folding shirts (or so we’d like to think)…
On X, formerly known as Twitter, the Today Years Old account completely amazed users with a video that revealed this clever trick.
With a caption that simply reads: “Bookmarked,” the post racked up a whopping 305,800 views and 1,800 likes since its debut earlier this month.
The presented video shows how a person skillfully folds parts of his sweater, rolls up the bottom part and skillfully gathers the sleeves together.
Then the clip continues to show off techniques for jeans and even a bulky jacket. In addition to maximizing space, these folding methods promise to keep annoying wrinkles at bay.
The tip is a boon for those who are constantly looking for ways to get the most out of a limited room.
So if by the end of the two-minute tutorial you haven’t learned how to fold your own outfit, it might be worth watching it again. One person exclaimed, “The guy’s a magician.”
Another relieved viewer remarked: “My mess in the room is being cleaned up now. Thank you.” Meanwhile, a third commented: “Good informative. Useful in flight.”
One person agreed: “Excellent, I’m a big fan of ironing, folding my clothes and then having to iron them again before wearing them because there were more wrinkles than before ironing the first bloody time.”
Others reported that such methods might be more time-consuming. One commentator remarked, “If people have time in their lives to do this, they must be getting up too early in the morning.”
Another voice added, “After doing this your clothes are very wrinkled, much better to hang your clothes. Much less wrinkles.”
