How to clean air fryers quickly and remove stubborn stains without scrubbing

Air pressure cookers are a handy kitchen tool, but figuring out the right way to clean this appliance is often a conundrum.

Air fryers may use little oil, but they still create a storm, leading to splatters and grease build-up, such as on hobs and oven glass.

They require constant maintenance to continue breaking down foods effectively. Looking for a simple solution to make your air fryer shine? One clever lady has shared her budget-friendly trick.

Adrianna Griffin claimed on the Mrs Hinch Army Cleaning Tips Facebook group that dishwasher tablets are the key to removing tough stains from deep fryers.

These versatile and effective cleaning aids are essential for anyone after quick and simple cleanings.

Not only do they make dishwashing effortless, but they are also suitable for cleaning other areas of the home and various appliances such as the deep fryer.

Adrianna posted a photo of her spotless air fryer basket and captioned it: “Whoever said dishwasher tablets are in the air fryer is a lifesaver.

“It was impossible to remove pieces of food stuck to the tray just by rubbing.”

He added: “Just a five minute soak in boiling hot water, a rinse and a wipe and the job was done. The fat had just melted away.”

“I don’t even have a dishwasher, but I picked these up very cheap and thought they could be used for the cleaning jobs I’ve seen on this page.”

The blend of enzymes, alkalis and surfactants in these tablets is excellent for removing grease stains, food marks and even unpleasant odours.
