This year’s IFA in Berlin is a busy one for Honor as it brings a slew of new devices to global markets, including the MagicBook Art 14. But in addition to the Intel-powered version, the company also announced the MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon PC.
This model is just now making its official debut without being released in China first, and it looks like it retains much of the same hardware, but with a Snapdragon X Elite inside. This will potentially enable better power efficiency, longer battery life, and more built-in AI features.
The device still uses a 14.6-inch OLED touchscreen with a resolution of 3120 x 2080 pixels and weighs just 1 kg, measuring 1 cm thick. It’s the same strong and lightweight package, with Honor calling it the “lightest AI computer on the market.”
Honor leverages the AI capabilities of the Snapdragon X Elite to optimize some background processes to improve performance and power consumption. The 14 most used apps on Windows get under-the-hood optimizations based on your usage habits.
The device also comes with Honor AI Agent, which helps with daily tasks and can even identify apps with unwanted subscriptions and cancel them. This AI agent will also make its way to the Magic7 series. Another AI tool will help you identify deepfakes,
Honor is also making efforts to bring devices closer together in a more seamless ecosystem with what it calls MagicRing. It lets you use peripherals and apps across platforms by connecting your phone, tablet, and computer (in this case, the MagicBook 14 Art Snapdragon). You can also receive messages, calls, files, and share your screen from one device to another.
Honor has not yet revealed its plans for the MagicBook 14 Art Snapdragon release date or price. We hope to learn those details soon.
