Last month, we saw the first leak about the upcoming HMD Hyper with a fairly detailed spec sheet and a render of the device in yellow. Same source @smashx_60 Additional renders of the upcoming device in four official colors have appeared on X.com, along with new clarifications on the specifications.
The HMD Hyper is billed as a successor to the Nokia X30, which was launched in 2022, but with a design more in line with the newer HMD Skyline with a mix of curved lines and sharp corners. We could also see three additional colors, alongside the yellow that was leaked earlier. These include teal, red, and gray variants. According to the leak, the device will likely have a metal frame and a glass back.
The HMD Hyper will get a 6.55-inch OLED screen (FHD+ 120Hz) and a new addition will be a 50-megapixel front camera with autofocus and FHD video recording. The upcoming mid-range model is expected to once again be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage.

The back is expected to house a 50MP main camera with OIS, along with a 13MP telephoto lens and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The HMD Hyper is also expected to offer a 4,700mAh battery with 33W charging, along with IP54 ingress protection, stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 5, and NFC connectivity.
