Kareena Kapoor added another feather to her illustrious career of 25 years. Multiplex chain PVRINOX Pictures curated the film festival to celebrate his silver jubilee in the industry. Dressed in black for the occasion, Kareena Kapoor responded to Saif Ali Khan’s reaction to this film festival. When asked how Saif Ali Khan reacted to this event, Kareena said with a big smile on her face, “He was extremely happy. He wants to come and watch all the movies. He is excited to come. He loves to come to PVR and watch movies on Fridays. So when I told to him, he wanted to look Omkara and Asokacertainly.” The We met actor added, “I’m just happy that people are getting to see these movies. I feel excited and honored and everything. You know, I’m still going to figure out what’s going to happen in the next 25 years. That’s the scary part.”

“PVRINOX Celebrates 25 Years of Kareena Kapoor Khan Festival” is a week-long film festival spanning over 30 cinemas across 15 cities from September 20 to September 27. Sharing the news on Instagram, Kareena Kapoor wrote, “The blood in my veins, the magic on screen… the work I love… the fire inside… here goes 25. Thank you @pvrcinemas_official & @inoxmovies for curating this beautiful festival… so humbled” , he wrote. Look:

The line-up includes Santosh Sivan’s Asoka (2001), Sudhir Mishra’s Chameli (2003), Imtiaz Ali’s Jab We Met (2007), Karan Johar’s Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001) and Vishal Bhardwaj’s Omkara (2006).

Earlier, Kareena Kapoor shared her excitement in a statement which read, “I am honored and looking forward to the film festival curated by PVR INOX. It is exciting to think that through the film festival, people of all generations will be able to experience these wonderful films. , and I will be able to relive the memories associated with these wonderful films. I am looking forward audience reactions to film festivals.

Kareena Kapoor was last seen in Hansal Mehta’s The Buckingham Murders. The film was released in theaters last week to mixed reviews.
