Several police and firefighters were needed to pull a 32-year-old Jaworzno resident from a drainage canal filled with flooded mud. “The man suffering from hypothermia was taken to hospital,” it was reported on Thursday. The incident occurred in Brzeszcze in Lesser Poland.
The hypothermic man’s life was saved thanks to the obedience of police officers from Brzeszcze. On September 22, he fell into a roadside ditch on the street. Pszczyńska and got stuck in the flooded mud.
After dark, two uniformed officers saw him by chance. The 32-year-old man suffered from hypothermia and was likely trapped in the mud for several hours. The police tried to get him out of the swamp, but he was too deep. So they called the fire department.
Only together did they manage to remove the injured man, who was immediately taken to hospital..
