On Monday (3), a video went viral on social media showing a man buying a guitar from singer Taylor Swift for $4,000 at an auction. For many of the singer’s fans, this would be a dream come true, but it appears the man in the video was not a fan of Taylor.
Shortly after obtaining the machine, the man takes a hammer and hits it several times, completely destroying it. He then returns the guitar to the auctioneer and leaves, leaving the audience at the auction in shock.
The video resonated on the networks, and many indicated that the man’s position may have political motives. Taylor Swift recently announced her support for Kamala Harris in the US presidential race. Netizens then pointed out that the man who bought the guitar could be a Donald Trump voter, and is not in favor of supporting the singer.
