Brigadier Grzegorz Borowiec from the National Fire Service Headquarters will be Krzysztof Ziemec’s guest on RMF FM. The topic of conversation will be the fight against flooding that has been going on in southern Poland for several days.
The fight against flooding continues in southern Poland, with firefighters helping to block embankments, evacuate residents, pump out water and deliver food.
The National Fire Service deployed huge forces to combat the elements, and also used unique equipment, such as the ubiquitous Sherp crawler and a special pump that pumps 45,000 litres per minute.
What is the work of firefighters in flooded areas like? How many interventions and rescue operations have been carried out so far? Is the equipment they have sufficient? What do firefighters face when working in flooded areas?
We will discuss this matter, among others, with Brigadier Grzegorz Borowiec.
We invite you to Krzysztof Ziemiec’s interview on Saturday right after… 8:30 on RMF FM, RMF24 online radio, RMF24.pl website, RMF ON app and our social media!
