Gordon Ramsay’s creamy turkey pasta only takes 10 minutes to make

With the end of summer, more and more people are looking for comfort food to cheer themselves up with the cold weather, and there’s nothing better than a big bowl of tasty pasta.

Gordon Ramsay’s Creamy Turkey Pasta is made from scratch in just 10 minutes and is perfect for anyone looking for a quick and easy home-cooked dinner.

Gordon wrote in his cookbook Ramsay in 10: “For a change, skip the bolognese sauce and make this creamy turkey and leek sauce instead in a fraction of the time. It can become a regular family Wednesday meal, as it has in my home.”

This recipe is fantastic for both kids and adults to enjoy, but what makes it so great is that it’s very versatile as you can swap out the meat, seasoning or pasta for another ingredient if you like.

Gordon added: “You can also make it with minced (minced) chicken or sausage, and you can swap out the sage for thyme, parsley or tarragon to suit your preference. Any shape of dried pasta would work too.”

Method

First fill the kettle with water, boil it and then pour it into the pot. Season with salt and then boil again.

Put a large frying pan on medium heat and add two tablespoons of olive oil.

When the oil is hot, peel and grate the shallots and garlic, then add to the pan. Cool for two minutes, remember to stir regularly.

Add the sage leaves and turkey to the roasting pan, break up the meat with a wooden spoon and cook for three to four minutes until lightly browned.

Meanwhile, while the soup is cooking, slice the leeks and add them to the boiling water for a minute, then add the pasta to the pot.

Stir the pasta and let it boil for two minutes or according to the instructions on the pasta package.

Pour the cream into the skillet with the turkey, stir until it boils, then simmer until needed.

Drain the pasta and leeks, but remember to reserve two or three tablespoons of the pasta water and add it to the sauce in the turkey roasting pan.

Chop the parsley leaves, peel the lemon and add salt and pepper to the pasta.

If you are making crispy breadcrumbs: Put a frying pan on medium heat, then add olive oil, Chop sage and add it to the pan with the breadcrumbs and fry until golden brown.

Place the pasta in a large serving bowl, sprinkle with breadcrumbs, grate Parmesan cheese and drizzle with olive oil. Your tasty turkey pasta is now ready to serve.
