Two gestures from Feio after the match against Brondby
After the final whistle of the second leg, Feio, instead of rejoicing in his success, gave free rein to his emotions. The Legia coach showed Kozakiewicz’s gesture and two middle fingers to the Brondby fans who came to Warsaw.
Feio’s behavior did not go unnoticed by UEFA. European football authorities almost immediately began disciplinary proceedings against the Legionnaires’ coach.
UEFA tolerant of Ugly
The punishment seemed inevitable from the beginning. That is what happened, but its dimensions can be surprising. UEFA has been very kind to Feio.
By decision of the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body, the Legia coach has been suspended for one match in UEFA competitions.
At the same time, the execution of this sentence was suspended for one year. This means that the coach will be able to lead the team in the upcoming UEFA Conference League qualifying play-off games. In addition, the club was fined €10,000 for blocking traffic lanes in the North Stand. – we read in the statement from the Łazienkowska club.
