With an investment of almost 230 thousand pesos, mayor Álvaro Obregón, Lia Lemonto inaugurate Geriatric Rehabilitation Class at the “Tolteca” Health Care Center, for treatment and improvement mobility of the elderly.

“Such actions improve the quality of life of seniors, especially those who are facing disabilities or physical impairments. We know that, for them, helping them regain their mobility is one way to contribute to their independence,” he said, noting that nine nursing homes are currently operating with nearly 5,000 regular users.

This classroom, which has a capacity to serve 250 patients per month, has the following equipment:

* Therapeutic stairs;
* Physiotherapy stretcher;
* Therapeutic physiotherapy bar;
* Shoulder wheel;
* Table for hands; you
* Mirror for posture correction.

“We leave this classroom open for your benefit so that you can access it and come to rehabilitate yourself here, hopefully this space will be very useful for you,” said the Mayor.
