Highlighting the multiple experiences of women in society, Cia. Dance Representative will make its debut on stage with the performance “Mulamba” on October 24 at the Experimental Theater of the UFBA Dance School. Tickets operate on a pay-as-you-go basis.

Choreographed by UFBA dance graduate Mariana Calabrese, Mulamba aims to discuss issues of gender, race and sexuality through a group made up of diverse women, creating an inclusive panorama that discusses different female experiences.

The central axis of the presentation revolves around sisterhood and the fight for equal rights, in addition to raising issues such as racism, sexuality and movements against the culture of harassment, feminicide and rape.
