It’s been a bit of a chilly week for announcements this week, which has led to a ton of gossip hitting our news section.
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S25 Ultra with a larger 6.86-inch screen and thinner bezels, rumored to be 2.3mm compared to 3.35mm on the S24 Ultra. Samsung’s upcoming flagship is expected to feature slightly rounded corners, which should make it easier to handle.
New leaks have revealed the color options for the iPhone 16 Pro series. Apple appears to have settled on white, black, gray, and gold, all of which will have the Titanium prefix.
Leaked slides of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset shed more light on what we can expect. The flagship chip will be built on the 3nm node with eight cores and Oryon CPU cores. The processor will be assisted by an Adreno 8-series GPU with improved performance and efficiency, along with a new NPU and a “Low-Power AI” (LPAI) subsystem.

All colours will be named Titanium.
There will be two versions, the SM8750 and the SM8750P. The “P” probably stands for “performance.”
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro has appeared on the certification list with 90W fast charging. The Samsung Galaxy A16 5G will offer a 5,000mAh battery cell, according to a listing by Chinese agency 3C.
The specific model has not yet been 100% confirmed, but it is very likely.

Ignoring the rumors, Tecno has announced the launch of the affordable Spark Go 1 phone with a Unisoc T615 chipset, a 90Hz LCD screen, and a 5000mAh battery.
Tecno’s latest entry-level device is now available with Android 14 Go.

Qualcomm also officially unveiled the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, which is the successor to last year’s 7s Gen 2. The new chip is expected to debut in a Xiaomi phone next month.
We also got a few samples showing off the new Zoom Enhance feature coming to the Google Pixel 9 and Pixel 8 Pro series. Samsung has expanded Circle to Search functionality to include music recognition.
It was shared by Google’s Peyman Milanfar, who worked on the feature. Zoom Enhance was originally announced in October 2023.
