Vladimir Putin would lose a war against NATO in three days. This is what Bill Browder, a former Russian investor and human rights activist, claims. Browder was Russia’s largest foreign investor until 2005. He explained: “Putin thought he could win the war with Ukraine in three days, and now it’s been two and a half years,” adding: “If he starts a war against NATO, he’ll lose it in three days.”
Does Ukraine need Western long-range missiles?
NATO is considered one of the most powerful military alliances in the world and has about 3.39 million troops. Russia has about 1.5 million troops. According to Huffpost, Browder believes Ukraine needs to be equipped with Western long-range missiles. The delay in this regard is frustrating, as military experts have specifically stressed the need for this support.
Low risk of nuclear war
Browder assessed the threat of a Russian nuclear attack as low. Putin would thus jeopardize his alliance with China and India and provoke a NATO reaction. “Putin has done everything we feared. The only thing he can do is a nuclear attack,” Browder said. President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have repeatedly warned Putin against using nuclear weapons.
