Former Bundesliga player Filip Kostic is set to move to the Turkish Süper Lig after two years at Italian record champions Juventus Turin. The 31-year-old winger has been loaned to Fenerbahce Istanbul this season, according to the Turkish top-flight club. The loan must also include an option to buy.
Kostic won the Europa League with Eintracht Frankfurt in 2022, but has since postponed his move to Juventus. He played 66 Serie A games in the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 seasons. The Serbian international has yet to play a single minute under new coach Thiago Motta this season.
Kostic, who played for VfB Stuttgart and Hamburger SV in the Bundesliga before joining Frankfurt, is training under Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho at Fenerbahce. The successful 61-year-old coach was hired this season after leaving AS Roma at the beginning of last season.
