At its meeting on Tuesday, the government adopted a draft law providing new forms of support for people affected by the recent floods in southwestern Poland. To this end, the Council of Ministers proposed to supplement the existing 2011 Law on Special Solutions for Flood Relief, as well as to add several others. Although compensation payments to flood victims have already begun under the provisions of this Law, the government wants to offer a completely new package of facilities.
