On Thursday, the first reading of the government’s special flood law took place in the Sejm. Minister of Development and Technology Krzysztof Paszyk outlined the assumptions of the aid mechanism. The announcement emphasized that it aims to protect entrepreneurs affected by the floods from closing their businesses.
According to the announcement of the Head of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Technology, entrepreneurs have two options for determining the amount of financial benefits. The first is the product of the insured persons in the company multiplied by several thousand zlotys. The second is the percentage of the average monthly income achieved by the company last year. Paszyk stressed that the financial benefits will reach the entrepreneur in about twelve days and he will decide what to spend it on.
