The Civil Police of Paraíba (PCPB) identified the woman who stabbed, killed and beheaded her own son, who was only 6 years old, inside the apartment where she lived, in the metropolitan area of João Pessoa, in Paraíba, this Friday (20).
Maria Rosália Gonçalves Mendes, 26, lived in the apartment where the crime was committed about a month ago and was not a well-known person in the neighborhood. No one can say what led to the crime.
According to reports from neighbors, screams were heard in the early hours of the morning, with the child asking for help and saying that he loved his mother and did not want to die. When police arrived at the scene, the boy’s mother was holding a knife in her hand and her son’s head was on her lap. The PM said the woman tried to commit suicide, but was restrained by the team and shot.
He was taken to the Emergency and Trauma Hospital in the capital. He is still in police custody. According to forensics, there was a cat in pain in one of the bedrooms of the apartment. In addition, a video of a satanic beheading ritual was also found on the site.
The Civil Police of Paraíba isolated the area, opened an investigation and conducted a scene examination. The case is being treated as a homicide.
