The dates were set on Monday 30 following a decree published by the Ministry in the Official Journal of the Union (DOU). The rules apply to direct and trainee public administration employees, as well as local authorities and institutions.
The document also stipulates that leave must be made up between October 1, 2024 and May 31, 2025.
Under the decree, workers must alternate during the two shifts, ensuring continuity of basic services, especially customer service.
