FGE Chihuahua confirms discovery of 11 bodies in Ojinaga

On this Friday morning, September 20, 11 bodies found in the Ojinaga, Chihuahua. This finding was confirmed by the local prosecutor’s office.

State prosecutor César Jáuregui explained to the press that the area where the bodies were located had been the scene of a dispute between criminal groups seeking control of the border area.

“On the outskirts of Ojinaga we reportedly found 11 bodies, including two decapitated people,” the prosecutor said.

The bodies were found with a message, possibly from a criminal cell.

César Jáuregui indicated that law enforcement will continue in the Ojinaga area until everything returns to normal.

On the other hand, he dismissed the findings as being related to internal disputes within the Sinaloa cartel.
