Last August, it was discovered that the 2023 edition of the FEST Festival would not take place. The organizers explained that they had financial problems. The decision was announced very late and, as we reported, tickets were sold until the last minute.
Now organizers say the festival will return next year after restructuring. – In 2025, we will meet again in the Silesian Park in Chorzów to celebrate music, culture and shared moments. Over the past year, we have worked hard to correct mistakes and plan not only to rebuild the festival, but also to regain the trust of participants. Our mission remains unchanged – we want to create a festival that combines music, art and people into a harmonious whole – the press release states.
FEST Festival is back
It added: “2023 was a humbling year for us, during which we learned how important a responsible approach is to organizing such a large event. The festival was canceled due to financial problems, but we did not give up. In 2025, we will return ready to act with a new strategy to once again become one of the most important music events in Poland and Europe.”

The festival will take place from August 15th to 16th. The event will be open to 20,000 people, just like the first edition in 2019. Next year, the event is scheduled to last three days, and in 2027 it will return to the four-day format.
Ticket holders from the previous edition will be given free entry in 2025 and discounts on tickets for subsequent years. The organizers have also introduced a refund program for funds lost due to the cancellation of the event. Money from unscheduled flights, transfers and hotels will be returned in the form of funds that participants can use at food outlets during the next edition of the festival.
The musical lineup for the next edition will be announced in December.
Park Slaski surprised
The authorities of the Silesian Park do not hide their surprise at the announcement made by the organizers of the FEST Festival. – We are surprised by the content of the announcement published by the Organization of the FEST Festival. We learned about their plans today from media reports. In our opinion, this is an action aimed at forcing the company Park Śląski to extend the lease agreement for the land for the following years and an attempt to put pressure on all institutions that influence the organization of this event – Aneta Miler, a spokesperson for Park Śląski, told the wKatowice.eu portal.
She added: “At the same time, we would like to inform you that Park Śląski opposes all attempts at blackmail and possible attempts to shift responsibility onto our company.”
