Fat Joe drops “Paradise,” partners with Anitta and DJ Khaled

Following his incredible performance at the VMAs, Fat Joe has released his new single “Paradise.” The track, which has a music video, sees the rapper team up with iconic DJ Khaled and Brazilian star Anitta; and features a freestyle sample of Stevie B’s classic “Spring Love,” in a party setting. With Anitta singing the chorus in English, the song is another milestone in the Brazilian’s international career and features a music video filmed in New York, including scenes on the famous Dyckman Street.

Born in the Bronx and one of the hip hop icons of the 2000s, Fat Joe is gearing up to release his first solo album in 14 years. “Paradise” joins “Outta Control” (feat. Remy Ma) as his first releases after a long hiatus from the music industry.

Joe’s artwork has been the subject of celebration, with the artist receiving the key to New York City from Mayor Eric Adams and making a surprise appearance at Usher’s sold-out show at the Barclays Center, where he performed hits from his illustrious career. In addition to his return to music, he is also preparing to launch his talk show “Fat Joe Talks,” which will feature weekly 30-minute episodes interviewing major media figures.
