Family and friends say goodbye to Diego de Jesus, 35, one of the victims of the shooting that took place at a bar in Belford Roxo, in Baixada Fluminense, this Sunday (22). According to reports from his family, Diego went there only to buy a beer.
“My brother just wanted to buy a beer and go home, he didn’t even stay at the bar,” complained Josilene Batista, the victim’s sister, who is now seeking justice. The attack, which shocked the local community, left a trail of pain and anger among those present.
Diego will be buried at 1 pm at Solitude Cemetery, in Belford Roxo. Besides him, another fatal victim was also identified: Milena das Neves, 26 years old, who will be buried this Monday afternoon (23).
Three other people remain hospitalized, including a 7-year-old boy who was also shot in the shooting. The health status of the victims has not been released by medical authorities.
The Baixada Fluminense Homicide Police Station (DHBF) is investigating the case to identify the perpetrators of the attack. Witnesses are being interviewed, and police are looking for security cameras near the scene to help solve the crime.
