Thursday is Truth Poetry Day. Today interested readers can enjoy a poem about a bicycle thief.
I greet you, oh bicycle thief!
You are evil, but also sweet:
The key, you take it with a whistle,
aren’t you packing for a bike ride?
Now it hangs there as a keepsake,
where there is only resignation.
It failed right at the door
to my house, yes, “thank you” for that.
It hangs. Who else? The thief? Oh no,
we want to be friends of mankind,
That association is embarrassing!
Not a word about it, I’ve been silent,
yes, say it very loudly:
Naughty life!
In the fresh air and to the end.
The pig has a bicycle now.
