Earlier this year, Meizu announced that it was going all-in on AI, which would change its smartphone ambitions. Well, the Chinese smartphone maker has now announced its latest smartphones, the Note 21 and Note 21 Pro. Both phones will be available internationally this time around, and will join the Meizu 21, which was announced in China earlier this year

The Meizu Note 21 has a 6.74-inch IPS LCD screen with FHD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and an 8MP front camera. The Note 21 Pro has a slightly larger 6.78-inch IPS LCD screen with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 13MP selfie camera.
On the back, the Note 21 has a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor, while the Note 21 Pro offers a 64MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor.
The Note 21 has an unspecified octa-core chipset with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, while the Note 20 Pro has the Helio G99 chipset and the same RAM and storage. Both phones support storage expansion via a microSD card slot.
Meizu Note 21 Key Specifications
Despite Meizu’s focus on AI, there are no specific AI features listed on the official specs page for either of the new phones. We also don’t have any details on the software, but we’re assuming both are powered by Meizu’s FlymeOS.
The Meizu Note 21 leads the pack in terms of battery capacity with a 6,000mAh cell and 18W charging. The Note 21 Pro has a smaller 4,950mAh battery and 30W charging.

The Note 21 will be available in Gulf Blue, Diamond Black, and Ivory colors, while the Note 21 Pro will be available in Bay Blue, Sandstone, and Marble colors. Meizu has not yet revealed pricing and availability details, but has promised to let us know more details soon.
Meizu Note 21, Meizu 21 and Meizu Note 21 Pro will be available in select markets in Asia Pacific, Latin America, the Middle East and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
