Directed by Aditya Roy Kapur, Anil Kapoor and Sobhita Dhulipala, Night Manager has been nominated for Best Drama Series at the 2024 International Emmy Awards. Thanking NDTV, he said in a video message, “It’s wonderful news. I just couldn’t believe it. Abira (NDTV reporter), when you sent me ‘congratulations’, I said congratulations from what? And then you sent me this I called Sandeep and the whole team.” We are thrilled and excited.
Night Manager competes with Les Gouttes de Dieu [Drops of God] (France), The Newsreader – Season 2 (Australia) and Iosi, El Espia Arrepentido – Season 2 (Argentina) for the desired location. The 2024 International Emmy Awards will be held in New York on November 25.
The Night Manager, a television series created by Sandeep Modi, is a remake of the British television series The Night Manager (2016), based on the novel of the same name by John Le Carre. The series starred Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sobhita Dhulipala. Tillotama Shome, Ravi Behl and Saswata Chatterjee were seen in pivotal roles in the series. The series was released on Disney Plus Hotstar. The series was produced by Banijay Asia and The Ink Factory.
In his review for NDTV, film critic Saibal Chatterjee gave The Night Manager season 2 three stars and wrote, “If the first part was style that far outshone the substance, The Night Manager part 2 moves considerably closer somewhat. The compatibility between the two elements. The visual brilliance is intact , the pace is steady and the tying up of loose ends is infinitely neater, making this a compelling conclusion marked by smooth performances and enduring technical brilliance.
