A few days ago we reported that Ewa Bugała will premiere on TV Republika. – It is with great pleasure that I invite you to my original news program “Ewa Bugała. Everything is clear”. The guests will be politicians from all over the political scene, Bugała said in an interview with Wirtualnemedia.pl.

As we discovered, The first edition of the new program will be shown next Monday, September 2nd, at 5:30 pm. The series will be published once a week. Other new features of Telewizja Republika include: Edyta Lewandowska’s transition. The former “Wiadomości” presenter will manage the “Dzisiaj” website alternately with Danuta Holecka.

In March of this year, we reported that Ewa Bugała had ended her cooperation with Telewizja Polska. In 2012, the journalist joined the editorial staff of “Wiadomości” TVP1, where she initially worked, among others, as an assistant to the website’s reporters. In 2016, Bugała was promoted to the position of reporter for TVP’s main news program. She mainly dealt with political issues.

In 2017, the journalist joined the TVP Info broadcaster. She became the presenter and head of the daily program “Nie nie się się”. She also took over the position of head of newscasts at TVP Info.

In 2018, the journalist briefly moved from Telewizja Polska to state-owned broadcaster Orlen, where she was to serve as communications director and press spokesperson. However, a day after being hired, she resigned from the state-owned giant.

After returning to TVP, she worked in the press office for several months. She then joined, among others: the presenters of the morning current affairs programs of TVP Info at the time: “Miwała 8” and “Miwała 9”, and soon after also “Miwała 20”.

Who has already moved from TVP to TV Republika

Danuta Holecka and Michał Rachoń are the first in a long line of journalists previously associated with “Wiadomości” and TVP Info who have moved to TV Republika. Earlier this year, the station’s team was joined by, among others: Miłosz Kłeczek, Jarosław Olechowski, Anna Popek, Rafał Patyra and Adrian Borecki. In mid-March, Adrian Klarenbach decided to make such a move (he hosts several news programs), in early April – Konrad Wąż as a reporter for “Dzisiaj”, and in May – Maria Twardzicka and Beata Sylwestrzak.

In recent months, Marcin Dobski (previously at Salon24), Aleksandra Prorok (previously a PiS councilor in the Wola district of Warsaw, an employee of the Prime Minister’s office and the state-owned company Enea), former “Wiadomości” reporter Marcin Szewczak and Dominika Ćosić, previously a correspondent for Polish television in Brussels, have also started working at TV Republika.

Telewizja Republika from the second half of December last year. reaches an audience dozens of times larger than before. According to data from Nielsen Audience Measurement, in May this year TV Republika’s average minute audience was 148,451 viewers and its audience share was 2.98%. A year earlier it was 5,067 viewers and 0.1%. share.

TV Republika is available via experimental digital terrestrial television multiplexes (Warsaw, Gdańsk, Wrocław, Katowice), local multiplexes (Jelenia Góra, Rybnik, Częstochowa, Tomaszów Mazowiecki, Wrocław, Świdnica, Lubin, Głogów), digital platforms (Polsat Box, Canal+, Orange), as well as cable networks (including Play/UPC Polska, Vectra). Stream TV Republika can be watched on the website tvrepublika.pl and on YouTube. On Friday, 12 July, it started broadcasting on the eighth digital terrestrial television multiplex, based on a license granted in mid-June by the National Broadcasting Council.

According to Nielsen Audience Measurement data, in July 2024, TV Republika’s average minute audience was 192,028 viewers, and its audience share was 3.92%. (compared to 0.08% a year earlier). In this regard, the broadcaster ranked second among news channels, behind TVN24.
