Edyta Demby-Siwek was selected for the new position by ambassadors of the Community member states, and her candidacy was approved by the Competitiveness Council. She will serve as Deputy Executive Director at the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
– This is the first time at the EU level that a Polish woman holds a high position related to intellectual property, which is a great honor for me. However, this would not have been possible without the support of the government and the ambassadors involved in this process, Edyta Demby-Siwek told “Rzeczpospolita”.
