Drug dealer killed after confrontation with police in Uruguay, in Salvador

A Military Police operation, in the Uruguai neighborhood, in Salvador, this Friday 27th, resulted in the death of a suspect. The information is from Baiano Report. The team from RONDESP BTS and the Independent Tactical Police Company (CIPT-BTS) was called due to the presence of armed men in the area.

Police were met with gunfire when they arrived in the area. After the confrontation, one of the criminals was shot while carrying a 5.56 caliber Colt rifle. The suspect was rescued and taken to Ernesto Simões Hospital, but he did not survive his injuries.

During the operation, 86 packs of cocaine were found, 13 packs of marijuana, 122 packs of crack and 200 packs of narcotics.

The case and all seizures were sent to the Homicide and Personal Protection Police Office (DHPP), in Itapuã.
