– Diesel fuel refueling costs are at their lowest level this year, and gasoline prices are slowly approaching their January lows. Thanks to the systematic reductions, which will gain momentum at the end of August, holiday returns will be cheaper than last year. However, retail prices for automotive gas (LPG) are moving in the opposite direction – announce e-petrol.pl analysts.

Discounts at gas stations will accelerate. 95% gasoline is cheaper, LPG gas is more expensive

Gasoline and diesel cheaper from mid-July. According to experts, discounts at gas stations are expected to accelerate even further before the end of the month. The driving factors are supported by the strengthening of the Polish zloty against the dollar and the continuation of crude oil prices near this year’s lows. What does it look like in practice?

At the moment 95 gasoline costs on average PLN 6.32, which is 2 cents cheaper than a week ago. Diesel recorded a reduction of 1 grosz to 6.34 PLN/l.

Drivers of cars with LPG installation They have no reason to be euphoric. Autogas prices are rising for the fourth week in a row. The price of this fuel has increased by 1 grosz and is currently 2.79 PLN/l.

Starting Monday, August 26, drivers They will be divided into satisfied and angry. The sharp price reduction in recent days on the wholesale market indicates that price reductions are accelerating. The last holiday week saw the price of 95 petrol at PLN 6.19-6.30/l. Diesel fuel will cost PLN 6.20-6.32/l.

Drivers of cars with installation will again have to dig deeper into their pockets. LPG gas will become more expensivetherefore, you will have to pay PLN 2.79-2.85 per liter of this fuel.

The price of LPG gas has increased by 7 cents per liter. How much does 95 gasoline cost?

In turn, experts from Corretora Reflex note that last week the correction in fuel prices at gas stations was the largest since mid-June. In the case of gasoline and oil, prices fell, on average, by 5 cents per liter. However, the price of LPG gas has increased to 7 groszy per liter.

According to analysts from August 26th These trends will continue. Especially in the case of gasoline and diesel, due to the drop in wholesale prices by about 16 groszy per liter, pump prices are expected to continue to fall in the range of 5-10 groszy per liter. Already this week, prices at some stations have fallen by several cents per liter. On the other hand, in the case of LPG, prices may increase between 4 and 7 groszy per liter.

New prices from August 26th. One type of fuel becomes more expensive

– Given that we can still take advantage of the holiday promotions, at selected stations we will pay less than PLN 6/l for a litre of EU95 petrol and diesel. But even without promotions, returning from holiday will be cheaper for most drivers because fuel prices are lower than last year: 95 petrol for PLN 35/l, 98 for PLN 12/l, diesel for PLN 13/l. Autogas is 7 cents more expensive per liter, the same as the increase at gas stations this week – commented the analysts.
