Poland is one of the countries that will appear on Disney+ Premium plan. Includes all content on the platform, including 4K and Dolby Atmos, and the option to play up to four streams simultaneously. In the standard package, content is available in Full HD and in up to two simultaneous streams.
The Premium plan for Disney+ was already introduced in many countries in September last year. We reported that it appeared in Germany (at the time it cost 8.99 euros per month, while the standard plan had to pay 5.99 euros).
Disney+: Premium plan and new prices in Poland
From mid-October The Premium plan will be available in Poland: PLN 49.99 per month and PLN 499.90 for 12 months. However, for the Standard package you will have to pay PLN 49.99 per month and PLN 299.90 if purchased for 12 months.

This offer will be mandatory for all new Disney+ subscribers starting October 17, 2024.. However, users with ongoing subscriptions will no longer be able to extend them to subsequent billing periods. As a result, new packages will be available to them starting October 21.
So far, Disney+ offers in Poland (the platform was launched in June 2022) consist of a package. At the beginning of November last year, subscription prices increased: from PLN 28.99 to PLN 37.99 for the monthly option and from PLN 289.90 to PLN 379.90 for the annual option.
Disney+ does not disclose how many subscribers it has in each country outside of the US and Canada. In July 2024, the platform was visited by 2.99 million internet users, each spending an average of 2 hours, 27 minutes and 18 seconds (according to the Mediapanel study).

Disney+ with ads in more countries
Also on October 17th this year. Disney+ will present its package with advertising content broadcasts in three more countries: Finland, the Netherlands and Portugal.
Last year this option appeared in nine European markets: Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
As we recently reported, as of June 29, 2024 (this is the end of Disney’s fiscal quarter), the basic version of Disney+ had 118.3 million subscribers, up 0.7 million from the previous quarter. This is the result of an increase in the US and Canada from 54 to 54.8 million, while in the remaining markets there was a minimal decrease – from 63.6 to 63.5 million.
The company’s entire streaming segment, including Star, Hulu and ESPN+, saw revenue increase 15% in the last quarter. With $6.38 billion, it achieved positive operating profitability for the first time: a profit of $47 million, compared to a loss of $512 million a year earlier.
