Deolane: Justice examines whether armoured cars interfere with monitoring

The Pernambuco Court decided, this Monday (23/9), to carry out an inspection of Deolane Bezerra’s armored car to check the functioning of the GPS signal. Judge Andrea Calado da Cruz believes that the armor interfered with the monitoring of Deolane Bezerra’s electronic ankle bracelet, which led to his return to prison on September 10. The influencer was released on Monday night.

In Monday’s ruling that ordered the arrest of Gusttavo Lima and businessman Boris Maciel Padilha who are being questioned along with Deolane Bezerra, the judge said:

“Report to the police so that through their expertise they can tell you if the vehicle’s protection is capable of blocking the GPS signal. This request aims to verify the information contained in Petition ID nº 181719534, dated 12/09/2024, which mentions possible irregularities in the monitoring of Deolane Bezerra Santos”, Cruz stressed.

Deolane was arrested on September 4 this year, along with his mother, Solange Bezerra, for involvement in illegal gambling and money laundering. On the 9th, the influencer was released, but returned to prison the following day for violating precautionary measures related to wearing an electronic ankle bracelet.
