BOLZANO. In Termeno, a delivery van caught fire today (October 31) near the M-Preis supermarket. A company was laying fiber optic cables. The car caught fire while working.
When firefighters from Termeno arrived on scene, the vehicle was engulfed in flames: the fire had spread to nearby hedges and there was a risk of a wooden garden shed and other vehicles catching fire.
Because of this, the alarm level was raised from “1” to “2” to alert firefighters from neighboring towns.
The fire was successfully extinguished before the arrival of the firefighters, the column of smoke from the fire can be seen from a great distance.
The operation was over after about two hours.
