Customers and security guards fight in the middle of a shopping center, in Manaus

A customer and a security guard at a shopping center located in the Santa Etelvina area, North Zone of Manaus, were involved in a brawl inside the shopping center, Friday (20).

The moment was witnessed by customers who were passing by the place when the confusion occurred. From the picture it can be seen that the security guard is holding the hair of the client, who also retaliates against the attack.

Two more security officers then stepped in and managed to separate the two parties involved. The motive for the fight is not yet clear.

O In time contacted the shopping center’s advisor and, through a note, the shopping center clarified that the image depicted the Security team dealing with an aggressive situation in the construction corridor.

“This was a one-off situation, resolved quickly, and does not reflect the day-to-day activities of the mall, which maintains security practices with monitoring and technology to prevent and combat unusual events,” the note stressed.
