After the success of the last two editions of the CRIME STORY series – all seats sold out (!) – it’s time for another screening of this series at the KinoGram cinema of the Norblin Factory in Warsaw! September 17 this year the classic “noir” film will appear on the big screen – “The Maltese Falcon” with Humphrey Bogart and Mary Astor in the lead roles.
Tthe remastered version for the 100th anniversary of Warner Bros. Pictures’ 1941 film version of the film A client arrives at the office of San Francisco private detectives Samuel Spade (Humphrey Bogart) and his partner Archer (Jerome Cowan) with a seemingly trivial assignment. Archer undertakes the investigation, but is murdered on the first night.
Spade, determined to explain the circumstances of his co-worker’s death, gets involved in a dangerous game, the rules of which remain a mystery to him for a long time. Many mysterious characters appear around him, who have one thing in common: an obsession with a golden statuette, the legendary Maltese falcon.
Traditionally, after the screening, we invite you to meet the special guest of the evening! The third edition of CRIME STORY will feature a famous screenwriter, actor, playwright and writer – Cezary Harasimowicz; the conversation will be hosted by Makary Janowski. We cordially invite you!
