President Lula arrived in Mexico on the afternoon of Sunday, the 29th, to participate in the inauguration of Claudia Sheinbaum into the executive branch.
Tomorrow, the PT member will have a scheduled agenda with Claudia’s predecessor, López Obrador, and then with his successor.
Lula is expected to address topics such as the environment, climate challenges, trade relations and gender issues.
Later, the Workers’ Party member will participate in the conclusion of the Mexico-Brazilian Forum. 400 businessmen are expected to attend, including 150 Brazilians.
There must also be teams on investments, food security, food exploration, production chains and new industries.
Claudia Sheinbaum will be inaugurated as President on October 1 at the Legislative Palace in San Lazzaro. Lopez Obrador’s ally is 61 years old and won the election with about 60% of the vote, becoming the first woman to lead the country.
