Chelsea have a star to call their own. The team’s top scorer, Cole Palmer, ended the Blues’ match against Brighton before the whistle at the end of the first half of the match. Furthermore, the striker broke a historic Premier League record by scoring four goals in the first 45 minutes of a league match.
On Saturday (9/28), Chelsea defeated Brighton 4-2, with four goals by the English striker. Palmer was the first player in Premier League history to achieve the feat of scoring a poker goal in the first half of a Premier League match.
Palmer arrived at Chelsea last year. A reserve at Manchester City, the player arrived at the Blues and quickly achieved star status. In the last edition of the English Premier League, he was the second top scorer in the competition, behind only Haaland, with 22 goals.
This season, Palmer has six goals and four assists in eight games. With four wins, Chelsea ranks fourth in the English Premier League with 13 points.
