‘Chaves’ and ‘Chapolin’ return to SBT after four years

The classic series “Chaves” and “Chapolin” will return to SBT’s program schedule.

According to a statement sent to the press, the broadcaster reached an agreement with Televisa, a Mexican media company, last Tuesday (24), to obtain the rights to broadcast its complete production on open TV.

Also noted, some episodes of the sitcom will be available on +SBT, the channel’s free streaming platform, launched in August to celebrate the house’s 43rd anniversary. More information on dates and times will be announced soon.

The programs were broadcast for 36 years on SBT, however, in 2020, the broadcaster announced the end of broadcasting due to a decision by Televisa, which stated disagreements between them and Grupo Chespirito, led by the heirs of Roberto Bolaños, owner of SBT works, who died in 2014 at the age of 84.
