Rapper and singer Cardi B recently shared a major update on her highly anticipated sophomore album, reports People . He subtly revealed that his years-delayed album is nearing production, as the cover has already been photographed. Could Cardi B’s Sophomore Record Be Coming Sooner Than We Think?

“When a fan shared a gif of X standing on the edge of a helicopter holding a bag that read: ‘I’m on my way to France to see if I can find the Cardi the Hermes bag she wants. @iamcardib I got you sister, Cardi tweeted in a post in which she wrote, “If you find me a bag I’ll post my album cover,” according to People.

A fan tweeted, “So the album cover is done from what I hear,” along with a photo of Zendaya

“The album covers are taken… I just don’t know which one to pick,” Cardi replied to the user.

Cardi addressed the remarks made to X regarding her next album on The Joe Budden Podcast in July.

When the subject of her follow-up album came up, host Joe Budden, 43, said: “We’ll never get another Cardi album again. I stand by it.”

In response to the criticism, he said that he doesn’t care what people say about him. “…….It’s a fact that you always talk s— about me, Joe Budden. You’d think I did something to this….For the past two years, this…has been constantly talking bad about me.”

She also claimed that the host compares her to other female rappers “every five, six months” and only criticizes her singles.

In May, Cardi said plans had changed, reversing an assurance she gave fans in March that her album would be released in 2024.

“Anyway, NO album this year, I don’t care, I’m taking it easy this year .. Dropping these properties that I’m already committed to, traveling and enjoying my summer,” she told fans at X, reports People.
