Canal+ family disappears after 11 years

Why did Canal+ first apply for a license for Canal+ 360 and now want to change the name of Canal+ Family to Canal+ 360? Two reasons are most likely. The broadcaster could apply for a license “as a precaution”. Recently, the National Broadcasting Council did not agree to change the name of the station Zakupy24.TV to Wiadomości24. This was accompanied by an overly radical change of subject matter. Another reason could be technical. In recent weeks, the broadcaster may have decided that despite the change in FEC on the satellite transponders, there is still not enough space to transmit another station in adequate quality. Changing one of the channels to Canal+ 360 will solve the problem.
